II Scientific and Practical Conference «Venous Thromboembolism – New Approaches to Diagnosis and Treatment»

On September 13, 2018, the II Scientific and Practical Conference of the All-Ukrainian Association of Cardiothoracic, Endovascular Surgery and Transplantology Specialists and the All-Ukrainian Association of Cardiology Arrhythmology and Electrophysiology of the "Venous Thromboembolism - New Approaches to Diagnosis and Treatment" was held on the basis of Heart Institute, Ministry of Health of Ukraine. More than 140 cardiologists, therapists, vascular surgeons, functional diagnostic physicians and other related specialties from different regions of Ukraine. The idea of ​​the conference was to discuss the current recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
