Rare heart disease – illnesses-orphans

V Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Orphan Diseases in Cardiology" took place in Lviv on November 3-4, 2017. It was organized on the initiative of the Ukrainian Association of Echocardiography Specialists, Saint Paraskeva Medical Centre, and Radiological Diagnosis Department of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. More than 300 physicians and at least 33 speakers participated in the two-day conference. Well-known Ukrainian cardiologists and leading international specialists made presentations. Prof Gabriele Hessling (Electrophysiology Department of the Heart Centre in Munich, Germany) was a special guest of the conference.
