Value of transesophageal echocardiography for diagnosis of abscess of aortomitral сontinuity

The clinical case of the aortomitral сontinuity abscess is presented. The important role of transesophageal echocardiography in the diagnosis of the aortomitral сontinuity abscess is underlined. Results of clinical examination, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography are discussed.
