Functional diagnosis in the XXI century: possibilities of technologies, multiplied by clinical thinking

On March 15-16, the Heart Institute, Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Kyiv) participated in the VI Scientific and Practical Conference "Functional Diagnosis of Cardiovascular Diseases". The organizers of the event have traditionally been the Department of Functional Diagnostics of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Kyiv) and the Institute of the heart of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. This year's conference is timed to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education The organizers have made a lot of effort to make the conference materials interesting and useful both to experienced physicians of functional diagnosis and to a wide range of cardiologists, therapists and family doctors. Within the framework of the first scientific meeting the issues of patients with ventricular, supraventricular arrhythmias, prevention of sudden cardiac death, diagnostic role of ultrasonic methods and various electrocardiographic modalities were discussed.
