Idioventricular rhythm of the heart

      Contemporary data regarding idioventricular rhythm of the heart are presented in this article. The definition of this rhythm is given, the etiology, pathophysiology, clinical data and diagnosis methods are described in detail. Modern approaches to treatment and prevention of idioventricular rhythm are presented. Particular attention is paid to the accelerated idioventricular rhythm as a form of reperfusion arrhythmia.
