We present a case of successful treatment of a patient with recurrent ventricular tachycardia/ventricular fibrillation after acute myocardial infarction with an early coronary artery bypass grafting. We emphasize indisputable benefit of myocardial revascularization for the treatment of arrhythmia and for survival. Special issues of antiarrhythmic therapy in low cardiac output syndrome are discussed.
Key words: myocardial infarction, ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, revascularization, coronary artery bypass grafting, antiarrhythmic therapy.
